Packed house celebrates CML’s first 50 years

St James’s, Piccadilly was packed to the rafters for Collegium Musicum’s anniversary concert on November 19th. Those present witnessed a sparkling performance by the choir, orchestra and soloists.

Here’s to the next 50 years!

‘Fabulous concert, beautiful varied pieces with heavenly choir and musicians. Loved the Purcell and the premier piece by Bed all, especially.’
– Rita and Emma Ferris-Taylor, audience member

‘I am sure I am not alone in sending many congratulations on a very fine concert last Saturday – wonderfully balanced and also showing off the scope and range of the choir’s capacities… it would give [Laszlo Heltay] enormous pride to see how you have sustained and developed CML to the crack group they are today.’
– Philippa John, founder member of CML
