CML revisited one of its favourite haunts – St Alfege’s Church in historic Greenwich – for the choir’s autumn concert on Saturday, October 19th.
Fauré’s famous Requiem was the curtain-raiser for a more challenging second half consisting of works by Langlais, Poulenc and Duruflé.
A large and appreciative audience saw CML at the very top of its game, with accomplished support from soprano Elizabeth Weisberg, baritone Gareth John, alongside violinist Hilary Toulmin, with Stephen Disley on the organ.
