Collegium Musicum of London’s concert on Saturday 29th November attracted a large and enthusiastic audience at St James’s in Piccadiilly. Nearly 200 people saw the choir perform works by Purcell, Handel and Bach, under the assured direction of conductor Greg Morris.
Accomplished playing by specialist Baroque instrumentaists, led by Catherine Martin, was complemented by some outstanding solo performances by Christopher Lowrey (counter tenor), Guy Cutting (tenor) and Gareth John (bass).
Always a favourite venue for the choir, St James’s provided the perfect backdrop to a memorable evening.

‘It was a magical experience! The three soloists were outstanding. But best of all is the tapestry of sound produced by your choir. Great!’
