CML success at St Stephen’s

A year after CML’s triumphant St John Passion at the St Stephen’s Festival, the group revisited West London for Henry and George, a sparkling celebration of the choral works of Henry Purcell and Georg Friderik Handel.

With accomplished performances all round, festival organiser Adrian Edwards was thrilled with the choir’s contribution, which closed the week-long event with a stirring Hallelujah Chorus, served up as an encore.

A choir very much on top of its game, period instrumentalists and a glittering array of top-notch soloists delivered a night to remember, marking in style Greg Morris’s first year in charge of the choir.
