Bloomsbury Schubertiade

Last December’s concert of intimate choral music proved a resounding success at a packed St George’s, Bloomsbury. CML produced one of its most accomplished performances with works by Schubert, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Stanford and Vaughan Williams. Meanwhile, no-one present will forget the outstanding contribution of tenor James Way (pictured right), who was undoubtedly the star of the show. The choir looks forward to a long and fruitful association with this exceptionally talented soloist in the future.

Another highlight was Collegium Musicum of London Chamber Choir’s Musical Director and Temple Church organist Greg Morris pulling out all the stops (ahem) in his sensitive performance of Brahms’s two Piano Intermezzos. Bravo!
